Overnight & Extended Stays
If you can’t take your dog with you on a vacation or an overnight trip, you can trust us to take good care of him or her while you’re away. Our boarding services are perfect for owners who want their dogs to be well looked after and entertained while they’re out of town.
Our boarding kennel features 5’x5’ runs and large crating that allow guests to move about and stretch throughout the night. Floors are made of rubberized matting for extra comfort, especially for our older boarders who benefit from the additional joint support. All dogs have access to our indoor and outdoor play areas for daily exercise. Boarders enjoy two meals per day unless otherwise requested. We are also able to refrigerate food for dogs with dietary needs as well as medications (which we are happy to administer).
Our extended boarding stay option is ideal for periods that last two weeks or longer. Long-term guests have access to all our trusted services, including the loving attention of our devoted staff. Our boarding services are located next to our shop on a 30-acre farm managed by Dog Gone Sensational Co-Owner Janet Rahn. The convenient location allows for your dog’s stay to be embellished with playdates with our Day Care guests, romps in our secure outdoor areas and, if desired, a special pampering by our grooming experts. An extended boarding stay is beneficial for families who are transitioning between homes. We also offer a military discount for families moving from base to base.
State-of-the–Art Comfort and Care
Our climate-controlled kennel offers large runs and multiple sized cages to help comfortably accommodate your dog during their stay. Our staff arrives prior to our public hours and stays late to ensure your dog has been provided ample outside activity time and multiple potty breaks. DGS can accommodate dogs with special diets, medication or special care requirements. Our kennel provides fresh bedding and biscuits daily. DGS wants your dog to enjoy their stay.
Additional Services
For an extra fee, dogs boarding at DGS have the option of enjoying Doggy Day Care, swimming in one of our pools, grooming and training. Please ask when making your boarding reservations about additional fun your dog can have while they stay at DGS!
